About Old Pochmann
Old Pochmann is the classic beginner method for blindfolded solving. It is simple, reliable, and teaches the most important BLD ideas: buffers, letter pairs, memorization, and cycling pieces.
The method is not the fastest, but it is one of the clearest ways to get your first successful blind solve. Because the execution is repetitive, it helps beginners focus more on memo and accuracy.
At first, solves around 2-5 minutes are completely normal. With practice and cleaner memo, sub-2 is possible, but faster blind solving usually requires moving to M2/OP and later 3-Style.
