3x3 Method
Roux
An efficient block-building method with low move count and strong flow.
About Roux
Roux is an advanced 3x3 method based on blockbuilding instead of solving full layers. You build two side blocks, solve corners, and finish with efficient edge and M-slice work.
The method often uses fewer moves than CFOP and rewards strong planning, intuition, and understanding of piece movement. It can feel more flexible because many steps are not as algorithm-heavy.
Roux can absolutely reach sub-20, sub-15, and sub-10 times. It is especially good for cubers who enjoy intuitive solving, low move counts, and a different style from standard CFOP solving.
