2x2 Method
EG Method
Advanced one-look style approach for very fast 2x2 solves.
About the EG Method
EG is an advanced 2x2 method designed for very fast solves. It combines first-layer planning with a one-look last-layer solution, so the solver can often finish the cube with very few pauses.
This method requires a much larger algorithm set and better inspection skills than Ortega. The reward is that many solves become extremely direct, especially when you can predict or recognize cases quickly.
EG is mainly for cubers who want serious 2x2 speed. With enough practice, sub-3 solves become realistic, and top-level solvers can even achieve sub-2 results using advanced planning and execution.
